class information
Our day at Homegrown (9:00 am - 3:00 pm) will be spent outdoors exploring nature, growing sustainable food options through gardening, prepping the harvest for storage, foraging, outdoor sports, outdoor skills, as well as animal encounters and education. While the day will have some structure in educational opportunities, there will be time to just freely explore (with supervision) and learn about what comes our way throughout the day through interaction with all that nature offers. The last part of the day will include a community effort to clean up. In order to be proper stewards of the venue we are renting, no one can leave prior to 3:00 and clean up is completed. (Except for muddy days, they can take a little longer on clean up.)
