Our day at Homegrown (9:00 am - 3:00 pm) will be spent outdoors exploring nature, growing sustainable food options through gardening, prepping the harvest for storage, foraging, outdoor sports, outdoor skills, and more. While the day will have some structure in educational directives, there will also be time to freely explore (with supervision) and learn about what comes our way throughout the day through interaction with all that nature offers. The last part of the day will include a community effort to clean up. In order to be proper stewards of the venue we are renting, students are expected to stay until clean up is complete (allow for muddy days to take a little longer).
