HOW WE WORK:
Homegrown is a drop-off course, but we would love volunteers to help out, especially if you are knowledgeable in the topics listed on our Classes page, or just want to learn more in those areas! Kids will be moving to different activities with an Age Group Leader and we will have teachers focused on instructing in specific areas throughout the day.
WHAT TO EXPECT / HOW TO HELP:
- Families will need to attend a Meet the Staff / Parent and Student Meeting. All families will receive a code of conduct agreement as well as a list of items to bring (and not to bring).
- Students will receive one color-coded Homegrown t-shirt, to be worn each day we meet. To order additional shirts, please visit our Online Store. Your student(s) will need to wear closed-toed shoes; we highly recommend rain boots for rainy/muddy days.
- We love parental involvement! If you want to stay and volunteer for one of the sessions, please feel free to sign up and join us for some fun! Please note that volunteering is on a first-come, first-serve basis, so you may need to choose another time slot if your first choice has already been filled.
- Dads: we would love to have a dad volunteer each week! It really means a lot to the kids to see a positive male role model investing in their lives.
- If you would like to help with supplies, we keep an Amazon wishlist updated with our weekly supply needs throughout each session. Please check our Facebook Page for details on this and other opportunities, as well as current links.
